The BEZA Foundation raises funds to support the BEZA Association in Lalibela to implement activities with the following objectives:
Social Enterprise: To support income generation and to raise funds for the BEZA hardship fund through:

Through the BEZA social enterprise, BEZA members handcraft beeswax candles and sell these to generate income.

Between 2019-2021 the social enterprise generated over 1800EUR to the BEZA hardship Fund.

Since the war in Tigray & Amhara (2020 - present), the social enterprise has been closed due to security and theft.
Community Care: To provide social support and community care to people living with HIV/AIDS that are very ill, elderly or frail (supported by BEZA hardship fund). This includes:

Community-led home based care and counselling

Support accessing housing, nutrition and healthcare
Since 2016, over 600 people have been supported through the community care program.
Education: To provide education for children affected by HIV/AIDS. This includes but is not limited to:

Since 2016, BEZA has supported 16 children whose life has been impacted by HIV/AIDS to attend school.
